Last week the Academy of Culinary Arts Cambodia (ACAC) participated in the Public and Private Collaboration for Quality Education forum held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Phnom Penh. The forum aimed to bring together stakeholders and leaders in private and public sector education to forge new pathways for the future.

The event, organized by the International Business Chamber Cambodia in conjunction with the Australian, British and Canadian Chambers of Commerce in Cambodia, and the Cambodian Association for Mining and Exploration Companies (Camec) was under the patronage of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport (MoEYS). H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, was the keynote speaker.

Around 300 people from the private sector, educational and research institutions and the MoEYS attended the event.

The ACAC supported the event in order to promote the academy and to strengthen education in Cambodia. Many participants in the forum were interested in the ACAC’s programs and ACAC representatives were able to hand out 150 ACAC brochures throughout the day.
