Martin Try is a passionate Cambodian chef with more than 25 years experience in the hospitality and culinary sector! After living in Cambodia and France, Mr. Try moved to the United States where he worked at “La Bergerie”, a San Francisco restaurant.
He started with basic cooking knowledge, but quickly developed his skills and grew in the culinary arts. Since then, he has worked in many renowned establishments, including the Stanford Court Hotel in San Francisco and the Beau Rivage in Mississippi.
In 1992, he opened his own restaurant called Café Suzette, serving European cuisine. Over the years Chef Try developed managerial and leadership skills. For the past five years, he has worked for one of the most prestigious country clubs in Northern California. He now teaches at the ACAC.
