Although there is no strict educational path to make a career in culinary arts, for those who aim to become a professional chef, attending a good quality education is one of the best ways. A culinary training institute such as the ACAC, not only provides the extensive hands-on experience required to become a highly-skilled chef. It will also provide you with a broader knowledge of food, accounting, history, flavours and more, all necessary to become a great leader.

Our curriculum is designed to accommodate novice cooks as well as individuals with previous cooking experience.

To enroll for the 2-year diploma program accredited by the Swiss Hotel Management Academy Lucerne (SHL), applicants are required to have completed at least 12 years of schooling pass or fail or technical certificate level 3. However, in case an individual intends to absolve the same course without aiming for a diploma, he/she is able to enroll and will receive a certificate upon successful completion.

The ACAC’s program is based on international standards and taught by international faculty, and therefore, the teaching language is English. For the registration students are required to have at least a basic English level.

Yes. The Academy connects students with approximately 100 local employers - restaurants and hotels - domestically and internationally. We directly support our students with internship placements and provide access to a professional network for future career steps.
